See & Do Attractions

Gwanaksan Mountain is located in southern Seoul and is renowned for its magnificent scenery. With its richly colored rocks set against the deep lush green valleys, and its countless steep rugged peaks, it attracts visitors year round. Its easy accessibility via public transportation also helps it maintain its status as one of the most-popular mountains in Seoul. Gwanaksan Mountain was designated a City Nature Park in 1968 and the Royal Azalea Festival takes place annually in the spring. Though the mountain may look rugged, it's a relatively easy climb.
