See & Do Attractions

Hakgojae Gallery is a modern art gallery and their motto is “creation of the new by understanding the old.” The architecture of the gallery reflects this motto. The main building of Gallery Hakgojae was designed to look like a hanok, (a traditional Korean house), while the new hall was designed in a modern, 21st century style of architecture. Though the two architectural styles are different, they harmonize beautifully. Hakgojae Gallery also has a branch in the Shanghai art district of Moganshan Road. Admission to the gallery is free.
