The Tteok Museum is a museum and experience center where visitors can learn about traditional Korean food. Permanent Exhibition Hall No. 1 showcases the different tteok (rice cakes) that were prepared and eaten on Korean holidays. Also on display are the various tools that were needed to create the tteok. Permanent Exhibition Hall No. 2 has displays on the tteok that were eaten during the daily life of a Korean person. From birth, to death, and all the occasions in between, the tteok that were or are served are on display at the Tteok Museum. The museum also offers classes on how to make tteok and other traditional Korean food.
