For over 20 years, Seogeulleongtang has been a popular place for charcoal-grilled samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly). The samgyeosal is marinated in soy sauce seasoned with oriental herbal medicine and then grilled over charcoal, giving it a unique, delicious flavor that eliminates the strong pork taste. To make their popular haejangguk (hangover soup), they add coagulated ox blood, dried Chinese cabbage leaves, and bean sprouts to a delicious broth made from beef bones. It is quite popular, so much so that getting a table at dinner time can be difficult.
