2016 Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace

We cordially invite you to the 2016 Moonlight Tour of Changdeokgung Palace, which is being held as a part of the project for transforming Seoul's royal palaces and fortresses into thriving venues of history and culture. We hope that you will have a truly memorable time with your significant other during a night in Changdeokgung Palace under the bright moonlight. Admission is reserved for foreign nationals only. All IDs will be checked on entry.

Program Introduction
‣ Nighttime tour of Changdeokgung: A guided tour on the history, culture and landscape Changdeokgung Palace. (Eng)

‣ Tour Route : Donhwamun Gate (Meeting point)→Jinseonmun Gate→Injeongjeon Hall→Nakseonjae Hall (Appreciation of moonlight)→Sangnyangjeong Pavilion (Daegeum Solo performance)→Buyongji Pond (Appreciation of moonlight)→Bullomun Gate→Yeongyeongdang Hall (Traditional performance & refreshments)→Secret Garden Forest Trail→Donhwamun Gate (End)

‣ Traditional Art Performance (Refreshments): Yeongyeongdang Hall (30mins)



‣ If the event is cancelled due to rain, notification of the new schedule will be sent via the e-mail address or mobile phone number you provide when purchasing tickets.
‣ The nationality of anyone who purchases a ticket and any companion will be checked at the start of the tour.
‣ Koreans are not admitted on the event days designated for international visitors. If a Korean makes a reservation, the reservation will be cancelled onsite, and we will not offer a refund. We ask for your understanding.


‣ For reservations at 7pm in March, please check your reservation then collect your tickets from a ticket booth between 6:30pm and 7pm. For 8pm reservations (March-June), please collect your tickets between 7:30pm and 8:00pm. (Admission will be restricted after the admission time.)
‣ You will be required to present your ID as confirmation of your identity, so please remember to bring along your ID or passport. (Your companion is also required to present an ID or passport.)


 

Other reminders ‣ Video and photography are allowed; the use of tripods is strictly prohibited as it may hamper other participants' enjoyment. ‣ Food and beverages are not allowed. ‣ Preschoolers are not admitted for safety reasons. We ask for your understanding.
