One of the main reasons why everyone should go to Gwangjang Market is for the original Mayak Gimbap. "Mayak", which means drugs in Korean, was added to the name because the Gimbaps were so delcious and addictive that people just keep going back for more. Just to be clear, there are absolutely no narcotics in these Gimbaps. Though most other stores here claim that they are the original, Mother and Daughter's Gimbap is the real original with over 40 years of history.
