¡®Dalha¡¯, which literally translates as ¡®The Moon¡¯ in Korean, is a non-verbal performance by the Gyeonggi Provincial Dance Company. In this piece, beautiful, traditional Korean dance is presented in harmony with martial arts.
This virtuoso performance - including Seonmudo, Taekkyeon, and Taekwondo - is enhanced by vivid projected images. Its story contains myths and legends explaining how heaven and earth were created, the origins of ancient Korean nations, and heroes and their destinies.
Dalha will be played from October 16th 18th at the National Theater of Korea. The closest subway station is Dongguk University on line 3; use exit number 6.
