Perhaps true rest is found in the moments when our thoughts change and expand rather than when places and environments change. Welcome to our private and beautiful [The Chae: Library], a space where you can plunge into the world of books. We hope you may truly get rest here by becoming the protagonist in the small library we provide. THE CHAE: Library was created by filling in one wall of an individual hanok (traditional Korean house) with bookcases and books so that our guests may enjoy time pondering. The bathroom, which is accessible through the hinged and sliding doors connected to the room on the opposite side and the corner room, is convenient and fun to use. The room, which contrasts with the elegant public space, is cozy and showcases a minimalist style.

THE CHAE: Library consists of three rooms, two bathrooms, a spa space, a yard, a library, and a kitchen. |Kitchen| A French Cleat System has been applied to the kitchen to transform it into a sensual space and make the time spent cooking more enjoyable.All of the furniture in THE CHAE: Library is custom-made. |Living room| The walls in the library are filled with bookcases and books. The lounge chairs placed in the middle of the bookcases that fill the three walls were designed to make it easier to concentrate on one’s inner self while reading comfortably. After reading a book, one can exchange thoughts with others or immerse themselves in lingering afterthoughts while writing a journal entry or listening to music. |Spa| Soak your body in the spa provided next to the bookcases and enjoy watching a movie using the cotton cloth screen installed on the opposite side at eye level. You can also enjoy looking at the burning fireplace while cleansing your mind.
