Somewhere Near a valley in Suseong-dong, Seochon, there is a space that has been created through the passage of time. Deep in the forest beyond gray walls stands “Somewhere” that resembles a mountain cabin. Built in the 1950s, this house keeps in itself the time it has endured. It has taken up the present appearance by passing through a period of transition in modern times. This space where past and present coexist appears as though it is completely separated from the outside world.

Manheejae Manheejae is a two-storied hanok accommodation that feels just like home. It is ensconced in nature with boreal digging frogs and 200-year-old zelkova trees. Here, guests can rest their bodies and minds exhausted from everyday life. The cozy and comfortable yard of leisure and relaxation is the perfect place for a cup of tea and a chat. The traditionally stylish rooms boast a sense of openness in which guests can sit and enjoy the beautiful views of Bukhansan Mountain and Eunpyeong Hanok Village. As implied by the name, the interior space of Roomin Bukchon is not spacious but rather like a room. It may be the most minimum space necessary for an accommodation. Hide & Seek Guesthouse Hide & Seek Guesthouse is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Hanok Guesthouse Suni Located near Sungshin Women’s University Station, it takes about 20 minutes to go to the four major palaces in Seoul, Insa-dong, Bukchon Village and Jogyesa Temple, and about 10 minutes to go to Dongdaemun Market, Gwangjang Market, and Namdaemun Market via subway. Subway line 4 near the guesthouse lets you easily visit major tourist destinations. You can use Ui LRT to go hiking at Bukhansan Mountain. Also, there are lots of buses you can take near the guesthouse. Between Sungshin Women’s University Station and Hanok Guesthouse Suni, there is a street with various commercial facilities that is often called “Little Myeong-dong.” Be sure to visit the +70-year-old Donam Jeil Market for more fun! There is also a popular walking trail by Seongbukcheon Stream, which is 100 meters from the guesthouse.
