Newly established in Gwanghwamun Square, the Garden of Gratitude is a space designed to reflect upon the gratitude toward Korean War veterans and the achievements and prosperity of the Republic of Korea, which has transitioned from an aid-recipient country to a donor country. The "Light of Gratitude 23" comprises 23 symbolic sculptures situated quietly yet magnificently at the center of Gwanghwamun Square. It stands as a symbol of the deepest respect and gratitude dedicated to the noble devotion of the participating nations that willingly extended their hands to safeguard the freedom and peace of the Republic of Korea. "Freedom Hall," situated underground at Gwanghwamun Square, is an immersive multimedia space where visitors can multi-dimensionally experience the sentiments of freedom, sacrifice, peace, and gratitude toward the nations that participated in the Korean War.
