This is a picture of the exterior of the Daeungjeon Hall of Jingwansa Temple. It is a traditional temple building with roof tiles. In the center of the upper part of the building, there is a signboard with the Chinese character that means Daeungjeon.

Jinkwansa Temple is a centuries-old temple located in Bukhansan National Park. The temple was built by order of King Hyeonjong of the Goryeo Dynasty in gratitude to the great Buddhist priest Jinkwan. History has it that Jinkwan saved King Hyeon-jong's life when he was young and the king repaid the priest by building the temple. Jinkwansa Temple is comprised of several buildings and some of the notable buildings include Daeungjeon Hall, Myeongbujeon Hall, and Nahanjeon Hall. The temple also operates temple stay programs where visitors can experience Buddhist culture firsthand. There are programs for groups, children, and youths.
From Exit 3 of Gupabal Station on Subway Line 3, take bus 7211 or 7723 and get off at Hanago Station, then walk 853m (16 minutes)
From Exit 3 of Yeonsinnae Station on Subway Lines 3 and 6, take bus 701 or 7211 and get off at Hanago Station, then walk 793m (14 minutes)

Recommendable place
This place is a little bit far from the city centre. But near of this temple, there are Bukhan mountain and Eunpyeong hanok village. Also it has calm atmosphere and run the temple stay program.

Breathtaking
Absolutely beautiful. It was neat to see all the colorful lanterns. The temple had three large golden Buddha's. great place for cultural emersion.
