Seoul Sky is located 555 meters above the ground, which is equivalent to 123 stories. It is the 5th tallest observatory in the world. 1. Sky Shuttle/Elevator
Once you enter the building, use the elevator to go up to the 117th floor. While being brought all the way up, you will feel like you're in another dimension as you'll be in the world’s first elevator installed with screen monitors on three sides, including the ceiling and the walls, creating a VR-like experience for visitors. It only takes one minute to reach the observatory by elevator, but once you exit, you might feel like you have just teleported to a new place.
2. Observatory from the 117th to 123rd floors
Once you get off the Sky Shuttle, you can enjoy the observatory freely using the escalators and stairs that connect the 117th through 123rd floors.
The observatory is comprised of various sections where visitors can enjoy the view, including an exhibition zone, the observation deck, a sky deck, a dessert cafe, a sky terrace, and a lounge.
Seoul Sky offers a unique twist compared to other observatories as it features a 360 degree view. The view of Seoul from Sky Deck is especially popular as it is well known for spine-tingling photos that visitors can take.
