Seoul Forest is a great spot for a wide array of cultural and leisure activities. It was the first park established with the citizens’ initiative and is easy to get to by subway with easy access to the center of the city. The forest consists of four distinct spaces: Culture & Art Park, Education Park, Eco-Forest, and Riverside Park. Located next to the Hangang River, it offers a public space for a variety of cultural and leisure activities.
Eco-forest Park – Insect Garden – Mirror Lake – Lake Fountain
Wild animals live in harmony with nature in Eco-forest Park. We highly recommend meeting the water deer and Formosan sika deer at the Deer Corral. Afterwards, share your experience with others through social media. Before visiting, be sure to check out the operating hours of the Eco-forest Park!
The Insect Garden invites visitors to meet insects and plants, regardless of the weather outside. This greenhouse gives visitors the impression of being smack in the middle of a dense forest. The Butterfly Garden is located on the 2nd floor of the Insect Garden.
Mirror Lake is located on the left side of Seoul Forest Plaza and is home to a 3 cm-shallow pond. This lake reflects the scenic views of Eungbongsan Mountain, which is located opposite of Seoul Forest. It is a great place to take astroll among trees inthe beautiful scenery.
Lake Fountain is the best place to take a rest. Enjoy the cool fountain and savor the scene of fish gathering around the bridge and crossing through the lake. We highly recommend the fantastic fountain show!
