Situated on the former site of the National Theater of Korea, Myeongdong Theater is a mid-sized venue that hosts many arts events. The theater is located between Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station and Myeongdong Station and stands five stories tall with one basement level. Myeongdong Theater presents experimental plays, musicals, classic plays, and nonverbal performances. There are also special events held here such as theater festivals and arts festivals. The proximity of the seating area to the stage also lends an intimacy and immediacy to the venue's performances.

- I was in Myeongdong Theater to watch a performance. I was very happy to be there after the performance. Artists had performed very well. Inside theater is nice. Staff is friendly and English speaking.

- One of the landmarks you shouldn't miss
- The theatre is one of the landmarks in Myeongdong. It has a cafe inside and it has a beautiful facade.

- Reservations must be made at least three days prior to the tour date.
- Additional reservations, one or two days before the tour starts, are only allowed for the tour that is already fixed.
- In the case of group tour, more than 10people, please contact us by e-mail.
- Reservations for the following month are available from the 15th of the current month.
- Please refrain from participating in any tour programs should you be experiencing any symptoms, including fever, coughing, congestion, muscle pain, stuffy nose, and/or sore throat.
- Reservations for tourists 14 years & under without an accompanying adult or guardian shall be canceled on site.
