Around 400 different works of the impressionist artist, Claude Monet (1840-1926), will be reborn in the form of convergence art starting from December 11 at the War Memorial of Korea.

Typically, oil paintings take 3-4 days to dry but Monet was known for repainting over the paint before it could dry. His work can best be enjoyed by stepping back and taking in the full view rather than going up close.

Monet was also known for painting a picture many times in order to capture the changing of light. This method has inspired other artists such as Kandinsky, Mondrian, and even Andy Warhol.

For this exhibition, the work of Monet will come to life through 60 different projectors that are projected onto 4M high big screens. Viewers will almost feel as if they have been transported to the past as the splendor of impressionist art becomes more tangible than ever.
