※ The actual region of the content is selected.《1st Hanbyeol Art Fair – Yeoyeo Nature 如如自然》, a new sensory venue that fuses Korea's unique aesthetics with contemporary artistic philosophy, will be held from Saturday, July 5 to Saturday, August 16 at K Auction Exhibition Hall in Buam-dong, Seoul. 《Hanbyeol Art Fair》 is an exhibition co-hosted by Arterati and K Auction, exploring how art leaves rhythms of sensation and textures of existence in the flow of time through approximately 250 works encompassing Korean ancient art, modern and contemporary art, and international contemporary art.
This 《Yeoyeo Nature 如如自然》 exhibition proposes artistic practice that recovers 'natural as it is' nature and unmanipulated sensation based on the philosophy of 'wu wei (無爲)' derived from Taoist thought. By materializing the invisible concepts of 'breath', 'texture', and 'void' into four sensory spaces, visitors will be able to unfold a sensory journey of direct response and dwelling.
The exhibition brings together the breath of tradition and contemporary aesthetics on a single trajectory through works of various genres, including ceramics, painting, printmaking, ink painting, and poetry. 'Star One' contains the silence of ceramics centered on earth and fire, the molding of wu wei, while 'Star Two' traces the texture of emotion in repeated lines and resonance. 'Star Three' shows the temporal transition of sensation by placing ancient and contemporary art side by side, and 'Star Four' demonstrates how the void and silence become the language of thought.
