Seonyudo Park was once a water purification plant and industrial site, but it has since been transformed into an ecological sanctuary within the city. It is also a living ecosystem where various naturalized plants grow. Naturalized plants are non-native species that have adapted to new environments and now grow independently, quietly leaving traces of life in the ecology and landscape of Seoul. Artist Nahyun focuses on the life stories of migration, settlement, boundaries, and identity of these naturalized plants. In her exhibition Seonyudo: Silent Coexistence, she invites visitors to engage with plants and experience the ongoing flow of transformation.
