This opening exhibition of The Prima Art Center unveils for the first time 487 small ceramic pieces collected by the late Lee Woobok, founder of Daewoo Group and a key contributor to Korea’s industrial and economic development. Alongside his corporate career, he deeply appreciated the beauty of Korean art and ceramics and dedicated himself to preserving cultural heritage. He was particularly captivated by the serene and generous beauty of Joseon white porcelain and blue-and-white porcelain, collecting numerous small ceramic works over many years with great care. The exhibition title Sojunghyundae (小中顯大) means “Greatness revealed within smallness.” The 487 artifacts on display include 103 Goryeo celadon pieces, 3 Joseon buncheong ware pieces, and 381 Joseon white porcelain pieces.
