The Seoul Museum of Art Namseoul is holding 《Sook Jin Jo: That's How the Light Gets In》, the second exhibition in its 'Representative Korean Sculptors' series. Sook Jin Jo has been working in various formats including painting, sculpture, installation, photography, performance, public projects, and architecture, primarily based in New York for the past 40 years. This exhibition highlights her artistic practice that has been consistently maintained from her early works to recent projects through over 100 works, including her major and new works, undisclosed drawings, and archives. This exhibition is a precious opportunity to cover the artist's overall art world, and we hope it will serve as a chance to examine Sook Jin Jo's art world more broadly and encounter it anew within the context of Korean contemporary art and an expanded international horizon.
