Ahead of Xiumin’s army enlistment this last May, the attention of fans was held by photos of the EXO group dinner shared on member Sehun’s Instagram feed. In the photos, the place where EXO members gathered for a relaxing and enjoyable dinner was Insadong Chon. Contrary to its name, the restaurant is located in Sinsa-dong. The rustic interior decorated with festive holiday lights strung here and there gives a unique ambience. The reason that so many people come here is none other than the diverse menu! Apart from soju and beer, there is also chestnut makgeolli, banana makgeolli, green grape makgeolli, and other unique kinds of makgeolli that catch the eye. The wide variety of dishes prepared offer a fun experience just in deciding what food to order, with seafood pajeon, kimchi jeon, spicy cheese buldak (flaming-hot chicken), salmon salad, and more.

Oneul Seongsu Malgeum

The cafe Oneul Seongsu Malgeum’ turned into a hot destination after a visit by Xiumin. The wall next to the register is covered with heartfelt fan messages to Xiumin with his autograph as the centerpiece. Although there is a variety of items on the menu including coffee, tea, and fruit drinks, the popular items are without a doubt the cream-white and vanilla macarons chosen by Xiumin.
