Sung Deok-mi (Park Min-young) exuded perfectionism and elegance as the senior curator of an art gallery. However, she was also a fangirl, who followed an idol around with her huge camera. "Her Private Life", a romance drama that follows the events of two-faced Deok-mi as she meets her feisty boss, Ryan Gold (Kim Jae-wook), introduces heart-fluttering scenes of Seoul.

SOMA Museum of Art

The location that appears as Chaeum Museum of Art, Deok-mi and Ryan's workplace, is in reality the SOMA Museum of Art, which is located inside the Olympic Park. Various places in the museum will remind you of scenes from the drama, including the modern exterior, which utilizes exposed concrete and unrefined wood, the hallway next to the large window that Deok-mi confidently walked through, the concrete passageway where the two main characters took photos pretending to be lovers, etc. In the drama, the interior of the museum and the sculpture garden often make an appearance. If you follow the route within the museum, you will be able to freely enjoy the beautiful sculptures of the park.

SMmeat

In episode six, the Chaeum employees ask about Deok-mi and Ryan's relationship during a company dinner. The two lead characters, who were in a fake relationship, make up stories and bring out laughter from the viewers. The restaurant where the scene was filmed is called "SMmeat" and is located in Nonhyeon-dong. The meat from this restaurant has an excellent texture and delicate taste thanks to their unique aging method. Their signature menu is the chewy and juicy aged  Jamón Ibérico  (pork shoulder).

In episode eight, Ryan joins a meal with Deok-mi's childhood friend, Eun-ki. Ryan, who sees Eun-ki look after Deok-mi, cannot hide his jealousy. The restaurant where this scene was filmed is a Chinese restaurant located in Mapo, called  Hwasoomok . The 1st floor is a large hall with tables and the 2nd floor is a private room area that is popular for family gatherings. In addition to the food the lead characters enjoyed, which was jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce noodles) and fried rice, they offer numerous other menu items, including course meals with white jjampong (white seafood noodle soup) and japchaebap (stir-friend glass noodles with rice).

Cafe CocoMoco [Closed]

Deok-mi, the passionate fangirl, has a best friend who is also a fellow fangirl, Seon-joo (Park Jin-joo). The cafe ran by Seon-joo in the drama is “Cafe CocoMoco,” which is located in Mangwon-dong. In episode two, Deok-mi even worked part-time at the cafe after being fired from the museum due to a misunderstanding with Ryan. The interior, which is decorated with a green and white eco-friendly concept, has various recognizable spaces, including the long sofa where Deok-mi and Seon-joo often had conversations, as well as the bar, tables, etc. The cafe is located away from the roadside and therefore, is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in peace.
