The scene of Ki-taek’s family heading to Mr. Park’s house was filmed at the stairs nearby this supermarket. A sign is hung on the wall of Doejissal Supermarket. Jungnim-ro is an alley that extends from Chungjeongno Station to Seoul Station. When Seoullo 7017 was opened in 2017, people started to take note of this alley as a place that keeps the atmosphere and reminiscences of modern Seoul. They are mixed with old stores selling Seolleongtang (ox bone soup) and barbeques to create a scene that mingles different eras and times. Jungnim-ro only extends about 600m, but it leads to other attractive alleys like Yeomcheongyo Handmade Shoes Street, Mallijae-ro, and Cheongpa-ro. Be prepared to take some time looking around.
