Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with over 500,000 stores and 600 years of history. Having existed since Joseon Dynasty, Namdaemun Market is not only known for its long history, but also its vast size and the variety of goods it offers. On records, the market sells over 1,700 different types of items and has over 10,200 stores. The most attractive feature about Namdaemun Market is its low prices. However, low prices doesn't always mean low quality and there are plenty of goods bargains to be made at the market.

The oldest bookstore in Seoul, Daeo Bookstore is only a 5 minute walk away from Gyeongbokgung Station. Visitors will be greeted with views of charming little alleyways and hanok houses on their walk towards the store. Also operating a café, the interior of Daeo Bookstore is decorated with old items and photos, giving it a charming and unique atmosphere.

Seoul Folk Flea Market
Made up of seven different zones color-coded with all seven colors of the rainbow, Seoul Folk Flea Market sells everything from old antiques to modern products, offering visitors plenty to see and do within it premises. The red zone is the food court, the orange zone sells regional specialties, the yellow zone sells secondhand vintage goods, the green zone sells antiques, the blue zone sells fashion accessories, the indigo zone sells clothing, and the violet zone sells electronic goods and hardware. Unlike Insadong, there aren’t many expensive products here, allowing visitors to enjoy a more casual shopping experience.

Grilled Pork Belly
Pork belly, a cut that is greatly beloved by people in Korea, is a main staple of Korean barbeque. In Korean dramas, it’s very common to see people enjoying samgyeopsal with soju and has become an almost iconic part of Korean food culture. Wrapping the meat with rice, garlic, and ssamjang (bean paste) in lettuce is a popular way to eat samgyeopsal. The restaurant shown in the video is Ssangdaepo Restaurant located at 291, Cheongpa-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Comic Book Cafe
Comic book cafe is literally a library of comic books offering visitors a place to read comic books while eating food. Appearing numerous times on TV, comic book cafes come equipped with tables, chairs, and sometimes even beds and tents, where visitors can read comic books in comfort. They also sell a variety of food, making it a perfect place to go and enjoy on a rainy day. Temperature readings will be conducted for all participants prior to the tour. Those with a reading over 37.5°C are prohibited from tour participation.
Reservations for tourists 14 years & under without an accompanying adult or guardian shall be canceled on site.
[As of one day prior to the tour date] All reservations shall be canceled in the event of emergency particulate matter reduction measures taken and/or inclement weather conditions, including excessive heat waves, typhoons, heavy rain, and more, that may impede Seoul Guided Walking Tour operations.
The Seoul Guided Walking Tour administration office and tour guide affiliates are not responsible for any accidents that happen to occur during the tour program.

The course is for tourists with mobility problems (Senior, people with disability, stroller user).
You may not use the course without an assistant (or companion) ※ At least one assistant shall accompany a tourist with mobility problem ※ In case of electric assisting device users (electric wheelchair, electric scooter users), one assistant may accompany up to 4 tourists with mobility problem
