- Oraegage Part 1 -
Our everyday lives can be commonly seen taking place at our local markets. Attracting many visitors with their unique and lively atmosphere, the local market is metaphorically a humble stage hidden away in the corner of an alleyway which clearly shows the everyday lives of its nearby local residents. The hammering sounds from a nearby blacksmith's workshop converges together with the bustling ambiance of the market, recreating a scene of the marketplace right out of a painting.
Hyeongje Blacksmith's Workshop
Located five minutes away from Susaek Station, Hyeongje Blacksmith’s Workshop is a blacksmith shop with 40 years of history since 1976. Run by brothers, the shop forges a wide range of products including tools for farming and construction. On top of producing everyday tools, this shop also works on cultural projects. Visitors interested in traditional Korean tools are highly recommended to visit this place. Not only does this shop take custom orders, but they're also well know for making props for famous TV shows, like Dae Jang Geum and The Legend.
