Jin-shim (Yoo In-na) is a famous actress who has been enjoying popularity since her debut. Kwon Jung-rok (Lee Dong-wook) is a lawyer that has lived his whole life by the book. On the first episode of “Touch Your Heart”, Jung-rok coldly walks out of his office, leaving behind Jin-shim, who cannot be alone even to eat. Though he was harsh on Jin-shim, he soon feels bad for her and brings takeout sushi back to the office. This sushi restaurant, called “Maeum Chobap” in the drama, is actually a shop called Kium Chobap located in Seogyo-dong. It is a popular Japanese restaurant in the Hongdae and Hapjeong area. This little dinner spot is Poongnyeon Gopchang, located in Bongcheon-dong. Unlike in the drama, in reality the restaurant is a very popular one that has been in operation for the past 30 years, with an endless flow of customers. They use only premium Korean beef tripe that is juicy and flavorful. The gopchang platter is their most popular menu. The ‘hidden menu’, gopchang ramyeon noodles, is spicy yet refreshing, perfect for the end of the meal.

On episode 10, Jung-rok and Jin-shim go out for a date at an Italian restaurant. This restaurant, Yoyoma’s Kitchen, has been a long-time local favorite around the Seoul Arts Center, and is known as a great date destination. The name of the restaurant, Yoyoma, comes from the name of the globally renowned cello musician, Yo-Yo Ma. To suit its name, the inside of the restaurant is decorated with wooden furniture and violins hanging from the ceiling, making it feel almost as if you are inside of a giant instrument yourself. The most popular menu here is the beef tenderloin steak, made with top-quality beef produced in Korea, and the sea urchin roe pasta, which is a rosé pasta topped with sea urchin roe. The lunch menu offers a set that includes organic soup and salad, a main dish, and coffee, as well as original drinks and wines.
