Seoul Plaza

Situated in central Seoul, Seoul Plaza is a popular venue for many different festivals and events and continues to attract a large number of visitors. The 'I SEOUL U' sculpture installed in front of the grassy lawn of the plaza is huge and can’t be missed. Depending on the season, the scenery around the sculpture changes throughout the year. During the summer, fountains are turned on in front of the sculpture to cool down visitors. During the winter, lights are installed behind the sculpture, giving the area a romantic, festive atmosphere. Even when there aren't any events or seasonal festivities, the grassy lawn and tall skyscrapers lend a special feel to this place.

Yeouido Hangang Park · Ttukseom Hangang Park

As the weather gets warmer, more and more people are heading to Hangang River with a picnic mat in hand. Among all the parks surrounding the river, Yeouido Hangang Park and Ttsukseom Hangang Park have become the most popular hangout spots. Both places are easily accesible by public transportation. Hangang River is a lot bigger than we think; taking up about 1/15 of Seoul and a major landmark of the city. The 'I SEOUL U' sculpture near Hangang River is a structure that greets and welcomes visitors.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP)

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is a cultural space built under the theme of dream, design and play where various events like fashion shows, product launch, conferences, etc are held. Inside DDP, the LED Rose Garden drew many visitors looking for great photo spots. Unfortunately, the 25,550 LED roses that lit up DDP with their beautiful light were taken down on April 2019 for renovation. However, all is not lost. For those looking for another great photo spot in DDP, we highly recommend visiting the 'I SEOUL U' photo zone.

Seoul Forest

Recently becoming Seoul's most hottest place, Seoul Forest offers visitors plenty to see and do within its premise. Featuring great cafes and restaurants near lush forestry and a pond, this picteresque park attracts many to do their wedding photoshoot here. Originally a golf course and a racetrack area, this area has been transformed into a recreational park divided into four different spaces: clutural park, learning center, ecological forest, and marsh eco-park. Due to Seoul having a small percentage of greenery compared to other cities, this park was built as a recreational and leisure spot for the city's residents. The 'I SEOUL U' structure is located in front of the park's fountain. Seoul Forest is full of other great photo spots but none of them measures up to the shot taken against the sculpture with the fountain sprouting water.

Yongsan Park

When you get tired of the crowds, head toward Yongsan Park. Although not as big as Seoul Forest or Children's Grand Park, Yongsan Park still comes equipped with everything including a lawn, pond, sports facility, and ecological marsh. It's just like a mini arboretum. A family park, Yongsan Park features walking trails, playgrounds, and a wide, grassy field where children can run and play or have a picnic with their family. The 'I SEOUL U' sculpture is located in the center of the park right in front of the pond. At a glance, the sculpture can be seen as out of place in such a natural scenery, but upon closer look, the man-made structure bring out a pop of color as it coexist harmonioulsy with its natural environment.
