Created in line with a motif crafted from the artistic element native to Florence, Italy, M. Steakhouse offers traditional steak dishes, while providing a chique, modern ambiance. M. Steakhouse features prime beef steaks naturally cured over the course of a 40-day period and prepares each steak, observing the traditional Italian method of preparation "Bistecca alla fiorentina," or Florentine style.
Once you enter the first floor lobby of the James Joyce Hotel, boasting a red-brick architecture resembling that of an NYC building, you'll notice the cozy wall decor and sofa greeting you upon entrance, reminiscent of a design you'd only see in Manhattan. Previously operating under the name "Hotel Double A," the hotel was rechristened with the name of the infamous Irish novelist, James Joyce, and updated with a much more 20th century appeal. The guest rooms are cleanly adorned with wooden floors and practical, modern furniture. The hotel also features a restaurant on the rooftop, which is covered entirely in grass, sitting under the awe-inspiring gaze of the Namsan Mountain. The hotel itself is located nearby the Myeongdong shopping area, while also being set in the vicinity of primary tourist spots, one of which is the Namsangol Hanok Village, just a five-minute walk away! For those that RSVP the suite with a spa bath, you'll be able to even enjoy a simple, yet romantic bath in a wooden tub that overlooks the entire city.
