In June, the virtual commencement ceremony, “Dear Class of 2020,” was broadcasted live on YouTube. This event was held for the class of 2020 who could not hold offline graduation ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was attended by former U.S. President Obama, popstar Taylor Swift, and other celebrities from around the world. BTS was the only Korean celebrity group who attended as speakers and delivered a 12-minute congratulatory address. The filming location of the video was the National Museum of Korea. The seven members shared their stories in the lobby on the first floor and performed outdoors in the “Open Plaza.” The Permanent Exhibition Hall is comprised of six areas and fifty rooms that circulate exhibitions of 12,044 relics, and special exhibitions are held regularly as well. The Open Plaza, which symbolizes Daecheongmaru, the heart of Korean architecture, is open to the public and is the starting point of visits to the exhibition halls, performance venues, and all museum facilities. The garden near the lake surrounded by flowers and trees is perfect for a stroll and relaxation.
