Songpa-gu was the the capital city of Baekje Dynasty. Since a lot of Baekje artifacts are found in this area, there’s even a road called Baekjegobun-ro, meaning Baekje Tomb street. Right here on Baekjegobun-ro, there’s a quiet cafe that feels like Japanese wooden house. It also feels like a coffee shop that could have existed in twentieth century Seoul. They are famous for their Matcha Latte and Matcha Tiramisu. If you want to have a tea in a 1930s quiet coffee shop, head to Gabaedo

There’s Lotte World not far from Baekjegobun-ro. Lotte World is the amusement park in Seoul. Before Lotte Tower, people would come to Jamsil to visit Lotte World and Seokchon Lake. The biggest, most colorful amusement park in Seoul (and to some in the entire Korea) is Lotte World, so Lotte World became the essential place to visit in Seoul or in Korea. If you want to go on exciting rides with different stories, head to Lotte World.

There’s a park in Songpa-gu as wide and green as Hangang Park. It’s Olympic Park. Olympic Park was built to hold 1988 Seoul Olympics. After the Olympics it transformed into a place for the citizens. Mongchontoseong Fortress was found while building this park, so you can look at the old fortress from Baekje in here. Take a stroll around the park and feel the breath of Baekje.
