Hongjecheon Stream
Hongjecheon Stream, spanning 13.92 kilometers, is a significant tributary of the Hangang River, flowing through Jongno-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu. Historically, during the Joseon Dynasty, it was near Hongjewon, a notable stopover for Chinese envoys and officials, also known as the Hongjewon Stream. The area around the stream boasts well-known waterfalls and scenic bicycle paths.
