Changdeokgung Palace
Changdeokgung Palace, the second royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, was the longest-used palace by the kings of Joseon and is renowned for its beautiful gardens. Although it suffered damage during the Japanese colonial period, it was restored and designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1997. The tour course at Changdeokgung Palace consists of two main options: a course that allows free exploration of the palace buildings and a course guided by a cultural heritage interpreter, which includes a tour of the palace gardens.
