Chundangji Pond
Chundangji is a large pond in the rear garden of Changgyeonggung Palace, formed by the water flowing down from Bugaksan Mountain. The smaller pond is called Sochundangji, and the larger one as Daechundangji. The current Daechundangji was transformed into a Korean-style garden in 1984 when Changgyeonggung Palace was restored. The serene atmosphere of the palace, combined with the beauty of the colorful autumn leaves reflected on the calm pond, is a sight not to be missed in fall. Near the pond, you can also see the Changgyeonggung Palace Octagonal Seven-story Stone Pagoda, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful, healing walk.
