If you experience any difficulties or require assistance while staying in Seoul, please contact the
Tourist Information Center, which is operated by the Seoul Tourism . The center will help resolve any inconvenience you experience during yourtravels,suchas overcharged fare, and mediation of problems.

Cash Compensation Service for Overcharges
The Seoul Tourism Complaint Center offers cash compensation for foreign tourists who have been overcharged while in Seoul.
○Eligibility
International Tourists who are currently staying in Korea for less than 90 days.
○Applicable Areas
Limited to cases occurring in Seoul's Special Tourist Zones
(Itaewon, Myeong-dong, Namdaemun, Bukchang-dong, Dongdaemun Fashion Town,
Jongno/Cheonggye, Dadong, Mugyo-dong, Songpa and Jamsil, Gangnam MICE, Hongik University)
○Applicable Cases
Compensation for overcharges in shopping, food, and accommodation
※ Not applicable to unreasonably priced charges related to street stalls, transportation, and travel agency contracts, and Online platform.
○Compensation Limit
Up to KRW 500,000 per person
Processing Time: payment will be made within 30 days of receiving the complaint
※ Only those received within 14 days from the date of damage will be reviewed and compensated for.
