“One Spring Night” is a romantic drama about building the love that suddenly finds Lee Jeong-in (played by Han Ji Min), a librarian trying to live by her own choices, and Yoo Ji-ho (Jung Hae In), a warm-hearted and incorruptible pharmacist. The sentimental melodrama and realistic script touched the romantic part of many viewers' hearts. Let's experience the thrilling city of Seoul, as seen in the “One Spring Night” series.
Golmokjip Hwarogui - Seodaemun Independence Park - Ssangmundong Coffee - Himchan Pharmacy
In episode 2, Ji-ho goes to dinner after a basketball game with Ki-seok, who is Jeong-in's long-time boyfriend and is also a member of the same basketball club. The place appearing here is the Golmokjip Hwarogui (Alley Grill), located near Yongsan Station. Situated in an alleyway just like in its name, contrary to its small entrance it has a wide inner space that can accompany 150 seats, making it a popular spot for dinner gatherings among employees of companies in the area. The main menu item “1-mm pork belly” is a dish that comes with frozen pork belly sliced to a thickness of one millimeter. Grilling the meat with water celery and mung bean sprouts refreshingly cuts the oiliness of the meat for a flavor that doesn’t get old. Complementary doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew), gyeran-jjim (steamed eggs), and sprouts are provided without limit.

In episode 16, Jeong-in and Ji-ho are sitting side by side in the park talking, and finally find out how they feel about each other. The place where the two main characters so warmly comforted each other is Seodaemun Independence Park. It is a place with many remnants of Korea's painful modern history, such as Seodaemun Prison History Hall, Independence Hall, and Independence Gate. Let's take a relaxing walk in Seodaemun Independence Park, which has benches set up here and there for citizens to enjoy a rest, and take a look at the stories of history shown in the various buildings and displays.

In episode 3, the place in the scene where Jeong-in and Ji-ho sat facing each other talking was the cafe, Ssangmundong Coffee, situated in an alleyway near Ssangmun Station. It has a charming, cozy ambience with a yellow door and pretty little trinkets. The window seat where the two main characters sat was majorly popular with customers right after the show was aired. The main item on the menu is “Cafe Breve” with soft, savory macadamia cream. Other impressive menu items with unique and fun names include the Titanic, My Dad's An Alien Too, and Boracay Crush.

This is the place that was shown as pharmacist Ji-ho's workplace, Woori Pharmacy, and is also an actual working pharmacy. When Jeong-in was suffering from a hangover in episode 1, she came into the pharmacy as if led there, sparking the two people's connection, making this a deeply meaningful location for fans of the series. Even though the series has ended, you can still see the chair where Ji-ho sat and the desk where he worked, although the dispensary shown in the drama was a studio set. Not far from here is yet another filming location, a restaurant called “Moineun Saramdeul,” which we also recommend visiting.
