It’s official. The heatwave has begun. Luckily for us, we have Hangang swimming pools - cool summer getaways that can be easily accessed via public transportation. The perfect places to visit this summer, here’s everything you need to know about these public pools.
Not only do the pools offer visitors a place to swim inside the city, but they also serve as an affordable summer getaway for the locals. Fully equipped with adult pools, youth pools, children and kiddie pools, lockers, changing rooms, shower facilities, sunbed, and more, Hangang swimming pools also have amenities like food booths and stores for the convenience of its visitors.

#1 Nanji Gangbyeon Water Park
Unlike other regular pools, Nanji Gangbyeon Water Park is structured to look like a performance hall. In addition, the outer edge of the pool is set up against Hangang River to make it look like an infinity pool. The deepest part of the pool reaches 0.8 m, making this a great pool for family with kids.

#2 Yanghwa Water Park
Featuring pools structured like streams, Yanghwa Water Park is a water park and playground overlooking Hangang River. Featuring a separate area for sunbeds and tents, this place also has various food booths selling cup ramen, tteokbokki, chicken, hot dog, kimbab, and sundae.

#3 Yeouido Swimming Pool
Yeouido Swimming Pool has an adult pool, youth pool, kiddie pool, and a separate tanning zone. Every year, coast guards offer free swimming lessons twice a day. Participants must be over 8 years old and must either sign up by phone (Incheon Coast Guards +82-2-761-7122) or on-site to take these classes.

#4 Jamwon Swimming Pool
We highly recommend Jamwon Swimming Pool for those looking for a pool with a lot of shade. Equipped with both an adult and kiddie pool, Jamwon Swimming Pool can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There are many canopies and food stalls set up around the pool, making this pool a popular resting spot for visitors.

#5 Jamsil Swimming Pool

#7 Gwangnaru Swimming Pool
Just in time for summer vacation, Gwangnaru Swimming Pool comes equipped with water ball, pedal boat, water slides, and more for kids to enjoy this summer. Kids must wear life vests at all time, so make sure to bring one with you.

Read before Reservation
- Reservations must be made at least three days prior to the tour date.
- Additional reservations, one or two days before the tour starts, are only allowed for the tour that is already fixed.
- In the case of group tour, more than 10people, please contact us by e-mail.
- Reservations for the following month are available from the 15th of the current month.
- Please refrain from participating in any tour programs should you be experiencing any symptoms, including fever, coughing, congestion, muscle pain, stuffy nose, and/or sore throat.
- Reservations for tourists 14 years & under without an accompanying adult or guardian shall be canceled on site.
- All reservations will be canceled in the event of a weather warning being issued. (e.g. heatwave, typhoon, heavy rain, fine dust, etc.) (Cancellation will be processed immediately upon implementation)
