  • You can enjoy an open view of the Hangang River, a sky view of Gangnam, and a view of Lotte Tower, etc. from the living room. The night view is particularly spectacular, and you can enjoy nature in all four seasons as forest in Maebongsan Mountain is also visible from the room. In addition, there is Maebongsan Mountain Trail right behind the building where you can do exercise and go for a jog. Maebongsan Mountain Forest Trail extends all the way to N Seoul Tower.

    We River View staff have the know-how on how to operate a homestay accommodation. Since September, 2012, we hosted over 150 international guests as an urban tourism accommodation provider certified by Seongdong-gu Office and Korea Tourism Organization.

    Our homestay was visited by numerous international guests including exchange students at Yonsei University, trainees at Kyung Hee University International Education Center, embassy staff from Southeast Asian countries, Chinese/Japanese field trip groups, students going to language schools in Gangnam, and so on. We also provided free homestay service to South Korean-born adoptees visiting South Korea.

    In addition, River View is a place full of stories. The host couple shares their various international travel experiences with guests.

  • - Our apartment is located in the heart of Seoul; however, the area is quiet and pleasant with Maebongsan Mountain behind the apartment.
    - In the guestroom, you can hear bird chirping while breathing in clean air. The room has a single bed, study desk, chair, standing lamp, built-in closet, and full body mirror. You can feel nature throughout the four seasons through a wide window.
    - Breakfast included (we only use organic products including bread, rice cake, sweet potato, potato, coffee, milk, juice, tea, salad, seasonal fruits, homemade yogurt, eggs, etc.)
    - Experience various aspects of Korean culture! The host shares the meaning of “Arirang,” which is registered as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, while singing it playing the guitar (with both Korean and English sheet music) as well as children songs from guests’ country. The host plays the traditional Korean game of yut, introducing and promoting traditional Korean games.
    - The host cooks Korean dishes (japchae, bulgogi, galbi, gimbap, etc.) with the guest, and then go bicycle riding along the Hangang River (we have four professional-grade bicycles, and guests can rent them for free with safety helmets).
    - The host can provide a walking tour to N Seoul Tower through Maebongsan Mountain.
    - Guests can experience farming in the host’s small garden.

- A number of city buses stop at the bus stop in front of the apartment (Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam Station, Sinsa-dong, Itaewon, Gwanghwamun, Myeong-dong, Jongno-gu, etc.)
- Airport limousine bus (#6010) stops in front of the apartment for easy access to the airport.
