  • Simsanjae was established in the 1940s as a hanok for living. It shows the appearance of common houses in the 1980s-90s in South Korea.

    Owner Kim Ih-rye, who goes by the pen name Simsan, serves as president of the Korean Tea Ceremony Association and associate professor at the Federation of Korean Tea Masters Society, giving lectures actively.

    Interested guests can listen to a special lecture during their stay at Simsanjae.

  • - There are three guest rooms. In the family room, there is an attic that will offer a special experience of a traditional house.
    - No breakfast included. Scheduled to be offered as an option in the future.
    - Hanbok, tuho (stick-throwing game), and jegi (shuttlecock-kicking) activities available
    - Special lecture by Simsan about traditional Korean tea ceremony and etiquette
