  • Punggyeong is a small and cozy hanok perfect for families, clubs, classmates, friends, social groups, team gatherings, staff retreats and more. The private hanok can accommodate 7 adults (up to 11 guests).

    It is located across from Sungkyunkwan, the top educational institution in the Joseon dynasty. It was used as a filming location for K-drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and is currently the filming location for the drama Red Sky.

    The Seoul City Wall, Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Cheonggyecheon Stream, Dongdaemun, Gwangjang Market, Ihwa Mural Village, National Children’s Science Center, and Daehak-ro are within 5 to 20-minute walking distance and only 1 to 3 stops away by bus.

    We will also guide you on a 20 to 30 minute walking trail that passes through Samcheong-dong, Bukchon Hanok Village, Naksan Mountain, and Ihwa Mural Village.

    Our hanok experience is located in the middle of Daehak-ro where there are over 100 small theaters and galleries to enjoy the sceneries of culture, nature, and history, and within the 4 gates of the quiet hanok, everyone can come for relaxation.

  • - A cozy U-shaped hanok surrounded by a square-shaped fence
    - A comfortable hanok has a yard with a bench in the middle which is surrounded by a family-style kitchen, ondol room (winter & summer), the gate, bathroom, and a single bedroom (spring & fall)
    - When the entire hanok is reserved, only the reserved guests can comfortably enjoy the hanok scenery without other guests or the host
    - The host prioritizes cleanliness in the open hanok setting and the host cleans the rooms and launders bedding covers every time to maintain the accommodation at the level of a 5-star hotel

- The direct bus routes to all places in Seoul are available at the Sungkyunkwan Univ. bus stop, including Cheongnyangni, Jamsil, Gangnam, Yangjae, Itaewon, Express Bus Terminal, Seoul Station, Hongdae, Sinchon, Yonsei University, World Cup Park, and Gimpo Int’l Airport.
- After passing 2 to 3 bus stops, there are many buses to Myeong-dong, Chungmu-ro, Namsan, Jong-ro, Insa-dong, Gwanghwamun, and Dongdaemun
