  • Seochon is a village with a long history with undamaged Seoul’s tradition and changes. Hanok Essay is located deep inside of a narrow alley in Nuha-dong, where hanoks in Seochon are clustered, preserving the picture of life in Seochon. We want to provide modern people with experiences of hospitality and appreciation at Hanok Essay in Seochon.

  • - If you open the wide window from the garden, you can reach the lounge where you can enjoy coffee, music, and fireplace. Behind, there are a large bed and a bathtub.
    - If you open the wide window facing the south from the bathtub, you can go to the Korean traditional garden where a crape myrtle stands.
    - The king-size bed, small garden, and lounge are linked instead of kitchen, TV, and desk, so that guests could feel relieved from daily life.

- If you look up Hanok Essay Seochon on the map, you will be guided to reach behind our guesthouse. So, we recommend you to look up the address “9, Pirundae-ro 3-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul” and come to the opposite side to reach “12, Pirundae-ro 3-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul.”

Parking
- Parking is difficult as residential parking permit applies in Seochon. Guests are advised to use public transport.
- If driving, please check for parking availability in advance. Confirm parking requirement by the morning of your stay.
- You may need to use Singyo Public Parking Area (charged) depending on the situation.
