In memory and celebration of the filial piety of the famed 22nd Joseon king who made annual journeys to his father's tomb, King Jeongjo Tomb Parade Reenactment 2018 will take place from Saturday, Oct 6, 2018 to Sunday, Oct 7, 2018.
The city of Seoul, Suwon, and Hwaseong will come together again this year to recreate a perfect reenactment of the famed royal procession. In Seoul, a temporary bridge called Baedari will be set up across the Hangang River from Noryangjin using the same techniques the people used back in Joseon dynasty, connecting a way and leading festival-goers towards Hwaseong and Suwon as everyone celebrates the reenactment of King Jeongjo's royal procession.
