One of King Sejong’s sons, Gwangpyeong Daegun was an accomplished prince who passed away at the young age of 19. At the bequest of the king he was buried in this region of southern Seoul. It’s believed that had he lived he would have achieved much for his country. The tomb grounds are expansive and a beautiful location for a stroll. Its total area is 413,300 square meters. It’s believed the tomb is one of the most pristine sites in Seoul proper.
