Oct. 29th, 2016 to March 5th, 2017. The Musee d’Orsay, located in Paris, France, is home to countless masterpieces and historically important works of art. The Musee d'Orsay exhibition will take place at the Seoul Arts Center’s Hangaram Museum.
The Musee d’Orsay exhibition commemorates two anniversaries. 2016 marks 130 years of Korean-French diplomatic ties and this exhibition is one of several events that mark this special anniversary. 2016 is also the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Musee d’Orsay. There will be many works on display from many world-famous artists. Two of the most well-known works that will be exhibited are The Gleaners by Jean-François Millet and Meridian by Vincent van Gogh.
There are 131 pieces in this exhibition. Visitors will be able to see masterpieces from the great artists of the 19th such as Millet, Van Gogh, Monet, Gauguin, Cezanne, Degas, and Delacroix.
