A Joyful Summer Night on a Seoul Street

<Euljiro Nogari Street>

Euljiro Nogari Street

Not far from Cosmos Wholesale is Euljiro Nogari Street, a street filled with Korean-style outdoor pubs. When night falls after a hot summer afternoon, the street is full of people who just want to enjoy a glass of cold beer with cheap nogari. As such, Euljiro Nogari Street has long served as a popular gathering spot for people after work. As you walk through the noisy street, you will find yourself naturally grabbing a seat. People are seated so close to each other that you can hear everything the people next to you are talking about, but that is also a part of this street's charm. Euljiro Nogari Street, which was designated as Seoul's future heritage in 2015, is a recommended place to visit for those who would like to experience the friendly and ordinary atmosphere of Seoul.

What is nogari?
Young pollack that is commonly eaten with alcoholic drinks. People usually tear dried fillets into pieces with hands and dip them in red pepper paste.
