In episode 5, Jinhyuk brought Soo Hyun to the Hongjecheon Trail for a date at an art gallery. There are beautiful works of art displayed at each pillar supporting the bridge along the Hongjecheon Trail. The painting that the two characters stopped to admire was “Where will we meet again, and how” by Whanki Kim. It is located near Hongnamgyo Bridge. On episode 14, Soo Hyun decides to break up with Jin Hyuk to preserve his family’s happiness. On their last date, right before Soo Hyun breaks up with Jin Hyuk, they drop by Stamp Coffee in Yeonnam-dong. This is a popular café in the Yeonnam-dong area, and you will see a long lineup by the café every day. Before you even enter the café, the freshly baked bread and dessert displayed along the window will catch your eye in a heartbeat. You won’t find anything here that does not look appetizing, from the chocolate scone and tiramisu ordered by Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk to the café’s most well-known menus like jelly meringue cookies and mascarpone strawberry cheesecake.

On episode 14, Jin Hyuk confesses his feelings about Soo Hyun to his mother, who is worried about their relationship. This scene was filmed at Barun Chicken by Jonggak Location. They only fry 58 chickens per batch of oil to keep the food both hygienic and flavorful. In fact, they will give you a number along with your fried chicken, which indicates what number your chicken is in the same batch of oil. The items most ordered are a soy sauce chicken that comes with deep-fried shrimp, and the Soondeok Set, which comes with boneless fried chicken and cheese tteokbokki.

The romantic proposal spot




After a heart-wrenching breakup, the two characters meet again in the last episode where they enjoy a date like any other couple. This happy date that came after a long time of struggle was in Ihwa-dong. Soo Hyun and Jin Hyuk begin their date in Ihwa-dong, then walk up to Naksan Park. The proposal takes place by the steps in front of Café Gaeppul, where Soo Hyun said that she wanted to go to Santiago with Jin Hyuk, to which Jin Hyuk answered, “Can we go after we get married?” This proposal shook everyone’s hearts. This café is at the highest point of Ihwa-dong, where you can enjoy refreshments and a beautiful view of Seoul before walking up to Naksan Park.
