Get Married Like a Hallyu Star in Seoul

Brides and grooms-to-be from all over the world can come to Seoul and have their very own Korean wedding experience and take in Seoul's sights as well. Korea's best wedding shops are concentrated in Gangnam and are frequented by Hallyu stars . Within Gangnam, the Cheongdamdong and Sinsadong areas have the greatest number of top shops. Before arriving in Seoul, make reservations or enquiries via phone or the internet about your style preferences. After that? A photo shoot at a location of your choosing. Choose a photo shoot location according to your preferences. An indoor studio, or one of Seoul's landmarks? The city is bursting with potentional pictoral locations, from beautiful buildings, to quiet streets, to lush green spaces. Happiness should be recorded and a gorgeous wedding photo shoot just like top Hallyu stars is a great way to experience Korean wedding culture. For outdoor photo shoots, please reserve a photographer at least 2 weeks in advance.
The Seoul Wedding Tour (4 days) includes experiences that can't be missed. The following is a sample itinerary. For itineraries that are shorter than 4 days, we recommend the hanbok photo shoot, snapshot photo shoot, and the world class hair and makeup service. *Please note that most wedding shops are closed on Mondays. Please keep that in mind while planning.
Day 1: Seoul City Bus Tour around Seoul -> Choose a Wedding Dress -> Spa
After arriving at the airport, take the Seoul City Tour bus and experience Seoul. A day ticket allows for unlimited rides for that day. While you sightsee, don't forget to stop and pick out a wedding dress and tuxedo to wear the next day. Reservations are required. In the evening, unwind and relax at the spa in preparation for the next day's photo shoot.
Day 2: Hair and Makeup -> Wedding Photo Shoot
In the morning, visit your chosen salon for hair and makeup. Head to the studio straight after; each photo shoot lasts from 5-6 hours. Because the photo shoot will be long, it is a good idea to prepare snacks and drinks ahead of time. Choose your photos from an album of 20-30 pages.
Day 3: Hanbok & Outdoor Photo Shoot -> Proposal
Once the studio shoot is finished, the outdoor photo shoot will commence.
at Seoul's landmarks. Choose from one of Seoul's many landmarks, or the traditional hanbok experience. Create memories to last a lifetime. Make sure to put in any location requests to your photographer in advance. You can have a unique photo shoot in hanbok at the following places: Namsan Hanok Village with its traditional Korean homes and Unhyeongung Palace, the Korean Folk Village in Yongin, the Lotte World Folk Museum. For a truly special and unique wedding experience, have a traditional Korean wedding ceremony at the Korean Folk Village (advance reservations required). Additionally, the Cultural Heritage Administration's Four Palaces combination ticket costs just 10,000 won and allows entry to Gyeongbokgung, Deoksugung, Changdeokgung, and Changgyeonggung Palaces.
Day 4: Shopping -> Airport
Before leaving for the airport, the last thing you must do is check out Seoul's duty free shopping! Downtown Seoul has many conveniently located duty free shops. The shops have an international reputation for a wide variety of discounts. If you find yourself pressed for time, try a visit to Incheon airport's duty free shops instead.

Jun Ji-hyun, Choi Jun-hyuk
Jun Ji-hyun's wedding took place at the Shilla Hotel. It was an incredible display of style, grace, and elegance. The bride had minimal, natural looking make up and wore her hair pulled back from her face. With her beauty, Jun looked like a work of art even with minimal styling. An incredible 3 carat diamond pendant complemented her wedding dress. The finishing touch was a diamond tiara. Such is her elegance, that looking back even 10 years from now, Jun's wedding look will be beloved. Jun Ji-hyun's hanbok was a modern take on the traditional Korean dress, designed by Lee Young Hee. Jun's wedding photos were taken by photographer Kim Boha of the Third Mind studio.

Bae Yong-Joon, Park Soojin
The relatively recent wedding of Bae Yong-Joon and Park Soojin was held at the Sheraton Walker Hill. A party-style evening wedding, Aston House was filled with lush plants and white roses for the occasion. Though the atmosphere was laid back, guests noted many luxurious touches throughout the venue. The Bae-Park nuptials are estimated to have cost $1,000,000 USD. The greatest expense is thought to have been the catering; the food was provided by a high-end restaurant. Park Soojin's hair and makeup were done at A by Bom. People thought that the couple might have their wedding shoot at a fancy overseas locale, but against expectations, the photo shoot was done at their new home in Seongbuk-dong. Their unusual wedding shoot was by photographer Hong Jang Hyun.

Kim Moo Yeol, Yoon Seunga
Kim Moo Yeol and Yoon Seunga chose to marry at a small gallery in Yangpyeong. The wedding was held at the Pakaen Gallery Restaurant. Instead of focusing on splendor, the focus was on simplicity and being free-spirited. Since both Kim and Yoon are celebrities, there was much interest in the wedding, but the couple kept celebrations small and limited guests to close friends. The wedding was an example of the small, unique wedding. The entire wedding, from hair and makeup, to the wedding ring was done by Jane March. Yoon Seunga's entire look was a loveable vintage style in stpe with Yoon's cute and loveable image. Rather than a dramatic and opulent look, Yoon wore a dress with simple lines and vintage lace. Makeup was also kept to a minimum and the colors were soft and natural. The wedding photography was shot by Oh Joong Seok.

Won Bin, Lee Nayoung
Won Bin and Lee Nayoung's wedding was the definition of simple. The wedding took place in great secrecy it seems Won Bin and Lee Nayoung truly know how to throw a small wedding. It seemed like something out of a movie, blue skies in late spring and wheat fields stretching out into the distance. The couple's wedding took place in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province. Their wedding was the opposite of formulaic; breaking nearly every mold. The secrecy of their wedding may lead more average people to hold small, private weddings.
The cost of the wedding is thought to have been about $1000 USD. Lee Nayoung wore a dress befitting a simple ceremony, it was a piece from the collection of a Korean designer, Gee Chun Hee. The lines of the dress complimented her body while remaining modest. With a high neckline, the dress conveyed both innocence and elegance. Won Bin and Lee Na-young's wedding has caught the attention of many brides and grooms-to-be who also want a wedding stripped of empty formalities; with an elegant simplicity and substance.
