Little China Town, the Chinatown in Myeongdong, centers around the Chinese Embassy and has been home to Chinese cuisine restaurants, Chinese elementary schools, and Chinese culture for over 100 years. It is considered the oldest Chinatown in South Korea. The Seoul Overseas Chinese School, located next to the Seoul Central Post Office, has been there since 1909, along with some imported bookstores, Chinese food specialty stores, Chinese product specialty stores, and currency exchange shops. The Hansung Chinese Association handles various tasks such as issuing and processing documents for the Chinese community. This Chinatown developed naturally and is not managed comprehensively. It is one of the places where you can feel an exotic atmosphere in the city.
