The International Horticulture Goyang Korea is Korea's largest flower festival. It takes place every spring at the Ilsan Lake Park and is the only expo in Korea focused specifically on flowers. The Festival, which is celebrating its 13th anniversary this year, will welcome approximately 250 floral organizations from 35 different countries. The exhibitor will put on display the major flowers of their countries, and introduce unique plants as well as the local floral trends. Visitors will be able to enjoy an indoor garden full of artistic floral arrangements, the colorful outdoor theme garden, various cultural performances and affordable floral sales. In support of the new floral industry in Wondang, this year the festival will be hosted at the Lake Park and at the Wondang Floral Complex. At the Flower Complex, there will be seminars, shows and the exhibition of new plants, as well as visits to farms and other interactive programs, where visitors can participate.
