Gallery THEO, known for showcasing Korean art's broad spectrum and diversity, was established in 2020 by two directors with experience in the UK and the international art market. They aimed to introduce global expertise and networks to the Korean art scene. Located in front of the UNESCO World Heritage site Seonjeongneung, THEO is dedicated to supporting young and talented Korean artists, regardless of artistic genre, and uncovering the potential in their works. The gallery actively provides a platform for Korean artists to grow and thrive. In addition, THEO introduces international artists to the Korean and Asian art communities, fostering cross-cultural exchanges and expanding artistic discourse beyond national borders. THEO continues to host exhibitions featuring diverse artists worldwide. It aims to create a space where artists can coexist and flourish, driven by a commitment to challenging projects and artistic excellence.
