The Seoul Science Museum, located in Hageo-dong, Nowon-gu, opened its doors for the first time in Seoul in 2017. It was established to enhance science and cultural facilities in the Gangbuk area, aiming to bridge the gap in science and culture among different regions and promote balanced development across Seoul's districts. As a science experiential facility aimed at youth, it operates six permanent exhibition halls with 221 exhibits and a special rotating exhibition hall featuring exhibits related to the history of objects. It offers various educational programs and events, including family-friendly science-making experiences, group science classes for elementary, middle, and high school students, expert lectures, science experiments, and nature ecology programs that families can enjoy together.
