Chun-chu-sa made graduation gowns for the former President Kim Dae-jung and the former U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. All Denim Look, Still in the 80s:
Doksuri Dabang
since 1971
Doksuri Dabang was a favorite hangout for students in the 70s to 80s. Used as a place to share discussions among college students majoring in humanities and literature, it had a lot of prominent writers as its regular customers. Customers would leave messages on yellow paper as a form of communication and the site remains a place of nostalgia for many who spent their youth in the Sinchon area.

A Past Era of Democratic Movements:
Phaedra
since 1972
Phaedra was the secret hideaway of students who got involved in the June Democracy Movement of June 1987. Their signature menu is "Tear Gas Hangover Ramen" and named so for the tears and runny nose that would follow after the tear gas used during the past democratic movement. Passed down through two generations, the interior of Phaedra continues to remain the same as it did in the past, allowing many customers to enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of the place.

Mido Studio
since 1967
Mido Studio uses a special type of lens not found in any other photo studios. Their specially developed lens produces an ideal shape of the subject’s face, allowing for really great photos. Because of how many aspiring flight attendants took their job applicant photo here and successfully passed their job interview, this photo studio became to be known as the "Stewardess Studio".
